I’m Martin Vorel, a fine art photographer based in Prague. My work moves between minimalism, abstraction, landscape, botanical photography, architecture, and the small natural forms that are easy to overlook.
I am interested in photographs where unnecessary information falls away and shape, light, rhythm, negative space, texture, or movement becomes more important. Sometimes this happens through simple framing and observation; in other photographs I use long exposure, intentional camera movement, or in-camera multiple exposure.
Some of my work remains clearly connected to a place or subject, while other photographs move toward abstraction. What connects them is an attempt to look more slowly and reduce a scene to what made me stop in the first place.
