Nature Photography Prints
Browse my collection of nature and landscape photographs below. You will find photographs of trees and forests, mountains, water, fields, flowers, plants and other natural subjects, photographed in the Czech Republic and elsewhere in Europe, as well as in places such as Mongolia and Egypt.
Many of my photographs have a minimalist character, reducing a scene to its essential shapes, lines, textures and tones. Others use intentional camera movement, multiple exposure or long exposure techniques to create more abstract images.
Whether you prefer minimalist nature photography, black and white landscapes, atmospheric photographs or abstract nature art, you can explore the collection below and choose the photograph that best suits your space.
Fine Art Nature Photography for Your Home or Office
A photograph can change the atmosphere of a room without dominating it. My nature photography is often deliberately simple, with negative space, restrained compositions and natural forms that can work well in modern, minimalist and contemporary interiors.
I offer prints in a wide range of sizes and materials, so you can choose anything from a relatively small photographic print to a large statement piece for a living room, bedroom, office or other interior.
See the interior examples below to get an idea of how different sizes, frames and materials can look on a wall.
About the Artist
I’m Martin Vorel, a photographer from Prague, Czech Republic. I’ve been fascinated by photography since childhood, and I began pursuing it more seriously in 2013.
My photography focuses mainly on nature, plants and landscapes, with a strong interest in minimalism and abstraction. I am drawn to simple subjects that can be reduced to essential shapes, lines, textures and tones.
Inspired by photographers such as Michael Kenna and Karl Blossfeldt, I aim to reveal the essence of my subjects with clarity and detail.
In a world full of distractions, my minimalist photography invites you to appreciate the simplicity and beauty around us. I aim to create calm, simple images that capture the essence of everyday objects, seeking a universal beauty that transcends human experience.
Inspired by my childhood observations, I strive to evoke a “moment of enlightenment” – satori – through my photographs, similar to a visual haiku. My work embodies the principles of minimalism, stripping away non-essential elements to reveal the simple beauty of the natural world.

My Approach to Nature Photography
Nature provides an almost endless supply of shapes, patterns, textures and subtle changes in light. I try to photograph these elements in a way that goes beyond simply documenting a place.
When I go out to photograph, I often walk for miles without taking a single picture. I might pass through a meadow, woodland or landscape several times before noticing a subject that feels right. Sometimes it is something as simple as a lone tree, a patch of dry plants or an unusual shape in the landscape.
I also photograph plants in my home studio, particularly when I want complete control over composition and lighting. Dried plants and flowers are especially interesting to me because their shapes and textures become more visible as they lose their colour and freshness.
Exploration and Discovery
When I go out into the countryside to take photographs, I often walk for miles without taking a single picture. Suddenly, if I’m lucky, I’ll spot a special place – a meadow, a patch of woodland or just a lone tree. I spend hours exploring the area, looking for the perfect subject.
Most of the time I shoot on location, but occasionally I’ll pick up a dried flower or plant and photograph it at home in my improvised studio. This approach allows me to find many of my favourite subjects in autumn and winter, when the stark beauty of dry plants is most evident.
Preparation and Execution
I spend a lot of time preparing before I even pick up my camera. I study maps and articles, looking for the best angles and lighting conditions. I often return to the same locations several times to get the perfect shot.
This dedication to preparation helps me create photographs that tell a story and evoke a sense of tranquillity and contemplation.
Equipment and Techniques
I use a Nikon digital camera with a full-frame sensor, paired with different lenses to achieve different effects. I often use a macro lens for detailed shots, a telephoto lens for minimalist landscape photography and a standard lens for versatility.
For abstract photography I use techniques such as intentional camera movement, multiple exposure photography and long exposure photography. These methods allow me to create unique, dynamic images that capture the essence of movement and energy.
Studio Work
In addition to outdoor photography, I also work in my home studio, particularly for botanical minimalist photography. This controlled environment allows me to experiment with different compositions and lighting setups, resulting in clean, precise images that highlight the natural beauty of my subjects.
Global Influences
Living in the Czech Republic, I am fortunate to have access to the picturesque Czech countryside, which features prominently in my work. However, my photographic journey has also taken me to neighbouring European countries, as well as more distant places such as Mongolia and Egypt.
These diverse environments provide a rich source of inspiration, allowing me to capture the universal beauty of nature in its many forms.

Print Options
My photographs are available as several types of fine art photography prints, allowing you to choose the appearance and finish that best suits your interior.
Fine Art Paper Prints
Paper is a classic and versatile choice for photographic wall art. Prints are produced using premium papers and archival inks designed for long-term display.
A wide selection of paper finishes, sizes, frames and mats is available, allowing you to create a traditional framed photograph or a simple unframed print.
Canvas Prints
Canvas prints give nature photography a softer, textured appearance. They are available in different sizes and can be supplied stretched and ready to hang or prepared for framing.
Choose between different canvas finishes and frame options to create either a traditional fine art appearance or a more contemporary presentation.
Metal Prints
Metal prints offer a clean, modern way to display photography. The image is printed directly onto aluminium, creating a lightweight and durable wall artwork with a contemporary appearance.
They can work particularly well with minimalist, abstract and high-contrast photographs.
Wood Prints
Wood prints combine photography with the natural character of a wooden surface. The image is printed directly onto maple, giving the artwork additional texture and a warmer, more organic appearance.
Acrylic Prints
Acrylic prints offer a sleek, contemporary presentation with a clean surface and a floating appearance on the wall. They can be particularly effective for photographs with strong colours, detail and contrast.
Framed Prints
Framed prints are a ready-to-display option for your home or office. You can choose from a wide range of frame colours, materials and matting options to complement both the photograph and your interior.
For many minimalist photographs, a simple black frame provides a timeless and unobtrusive presentation.
