Simple B&W Photo of a Flower Silhouette
Minimalism. Shallow depth of field. Lines. Beauty. Four things describe this photograph well. Although longer in time, this is another in my series of images of plant stems growing in the snow.
Whenever it snows outside, which unfortunately isn’t often, I quickly set out in search of interesting motifs to transfer to photography. While this may seem easy, it is not. Finding a plant that will meet the criteria of having a beautiful and graceful shape while growing on its own without distracting surroundings and background is very difficult. That’s why I only get a good shot of this type about once every one or two years.
I took this photo by the pond in Říčany near Prague, just a few kilometers from our house. I used a Nikon Z7 camera together with a Tamron telephoto lens with a focal length of 175mm.
