This photographic artwork that you can buy as a printed photo is one of my favorite photos of my favorite place.
Mongolia – a large and beautiful country full of horses, cattle, camels, eagles, and vultures. Endless steppes, Buddhist temples, and hospitable people. All of this is Mongolia and I am lucky to have lived here for a year and to return there as a tourist guide.
After another busy day, which I spent as a tourist guide on a trip through Mongolia, we arrived at a yurt camp at Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur. The landscape around the lake is beautiful. In the south are high round mountains with snow-capped peaks. To the east is a volcanic crater, surrounded by a large lava field that looks like it was formed only recently and not more than ten thousand years ago.
As the evening approached and my tourists checked in, I went to the driver of our Russian van, who was just finishing repairing a cracked radiator. Then I finally noticed the beautiful clouds in the sky, through which the rays of the setting sunshine.
I took my camera and quickly took dozens of photos of the surrounding rocks. Finally, I chose the photo you see on this page and you can even buy it and decorate your home or office with it.
In the picture, I like the calm that evokes in me. I like the snow-white cloud rising behind the dark, inhospitable rock. I like all the shades of gray that nature created and I could capture them in the photo. I hope you like the photo as well.
