Black and white photograph of an old Baroque granary in the Czech Republic
This black and white, dark architectural photograph I took early in the morning near Prague. I was waiting for a day when there would be a thick fog that would cover what I didn’t want in the photo. When that day came I set out early and spent dozens of minutes walking through the muddy field looking for the spot from which the photo would look best.
The image has a clean central composition with a field in the foreground, an old building in the middle and fog covering everything around it in the background. You can buy the photograph as an art print.
You can choose from five types of prints:
- Art print
- Framed art print
- Canvas print (with or without a frame)
- Metal print
- Wood print
- Acrylic print
This baroque building from the 18th century belonging to the farmstead of Týnice. The granary is located in close proximity to the Týnice farmstead, which is situated in the western part of the land plot. The massive building made of rubble masonry is located in a dominant landscape position. The three-story building has a rectangular plan. The facades are articulated by belt cornices and pilasters with relatively simple capitals.
