Types of Printing Canvases

Glossy Canvas

With a glossy finish formula designed for pigmented inks, this canvas lovingly recreates the texture and reflectivity of oils on canvas. It also lends a fine-art feel to photographs - especially portraiture. The glossy canvas has a slightly warm tone and is made from an acid-free poly/cotton blend. 450 gsm / 20 mil.

Matte Canvas

The texture and weight of this canvas bring fine-art reproductions one step closer to the originals. The matte finish provides a softness which invites attention. This canvas has a bright white tone and is made from an acid-free poly/cotton blend. 430 gsm / 20 mil.

The photography gets printed on one of the premium canvases and then stretched on a wooden frame of stretcher bars.

You can select from a wooden frame of 1.5 x 1.5 in stretcher bars (Gallery wrap) or 5/8 x 5/8 in stretcher bars (Museum wrap).

Canvas prints look beautiful as a standalone piece or in one of 25+ frames.

You can choose from five different border styles

  • Gallery wrap - black border: A classic black edge is added to your image (1.5in stretcher bars).
  • Gallery wrap - white border: A clean white edge is added to your image (1.5 in stretcher bars).
  • Gallery wrap - continuous mirrored image: The outer 1.75 in edge of your image is mirrored on the wrap (1.5 in stretcher bars).
  • Museum wrap: A clean white edge is added to your image (5/8 in stretcher bars). This thinner option is only available with white sides.
  • Canvas prints can also be ordered with NO WRAP and arrive rolled in a cardboard tube. It will come with an additional 2.5 in of canvas for future stretching.

All canvas prints are shipped „ready to hang“ with a hanging wire, mounting hooks, and nails.
