Abstract photography is a type of photography that focuses on capturing the essence of the subject rather than the subject itself. Abstract photography often uses color, light, and composition to create a unique and interesting image that captures the viewer’s attention. Abstract photography prints can be a great way to add interest and beauty to any space.

Abstract photography prints can be a great addition to any home or office. They can add mood and creativity to a space and can be a conversation starter for guests. Abstract photo prints can also be a great way to add a personal touch to a space and reflect the owner’s interests and personality.

When purchasing abstract photographic prints, it is important to consider the size, color, and design of the print. The size of the print should match the space in which it will be hung, and the colors should complement the existing décor. I recommend choosing the type of print based on what other paintings or photographs you already have in your interior.

What are the Options for Printing Abstract Photographs?

Below you can see a list of options to have my photos printed. Although I prefer framed prints printed on art photo paper, each option has its advantages. The choice is up to you.

I use Fineartamerica.com/Pixels.com to print my photos, which guarantees high-quality printing, processing, and delivery – the reviews speak for themselves.

Types of Abstract Photographs

Abstract photography is a type of photography that focuses on capturing images in a way that is non-representational or outside of traditional photographic norms. Instead of depicting a subject in a realistic or representational way, abstract photography seeks to create images that are more open to interpretation and that evoke emotions or ideas. There are many different types of abstract photography, each with its own unique characteristics and techniques.

Abstract nature photograph.

Abstract nature photography

Abstract nature photography is a type of photography that focuses on capturing the natural world in a way that is non-literal and often very peculiar. Rather than depicting a specific location or subject in a realistic way, abstract nature photography seeks to highlight the colors, textures, and shapes that can be found in nature. One of the key features of abstract nature photography is its emphasis on form and composition.

One of the challenges of abstract nature photography is finding subjects that are interesting and dynamic. This often involves looking for patterns and textures in the natural world that are not immediately apparent.

An example of abstract architectural photography

Abstract architectural photography

Abstract photographs of architecture are a unique and captivating way to appreciate the beauty of modern and historic buildings. In my photographs, I strive to capture the essence of architectural design, shapes, and lines and highlight them in an artistic and creative way.

In many cases, abstract architecture photographs are minimalist in nature, focusing on the essential elements of the building and eliminating distracting background elements. This allows the viewer to fully appreciate the beauty and form of the building and see it in a new and unique way.

A large part of the collection consists of photographs of Prague buildings and other Czech Republic cities. However, there are also photographs from as far away as Mongolia.

Geometric plant on abstract photograph

Geometric photos of plants

A collection of artistic photographs that capture the beautiful geometric shapes of plants. The photographs are dedicated to all lovers of nature, minimalism, and the graceful shapes found around us.

The photographs focus on the essential elements of the plants and eliminate distracting background elements through the use of negative space. This allows the viewer to fully appreciate the beauty and shapes of the object and see it in a new and unique way. Many of the photographs are in black and white, giving the image a timeless and classic aesthetic.

Abstract photographs of cars

Photographs of means of transport, especially cars, are on the border between abstract and minimalist photography. These are mostly close-up photographs that artistically capture elegant lines and details that are beautiful by themselves.

The photographs show the intricate details and craftsmanship of the vehicles and highlight the elegance, curves, and sophisticated technology and design.

So if you’re a fan of cars or simply appreciate beautiful artistic photography, be sure to check out my collection of images of cars, buses, and other technological gems. I believe my photographs will add beauty and sophistication to your home or office.

Abstract landscape photography

Abstract photographs of landscapes

Abstract landscape photography requires a creative approach to capturing the landscape in a way that may not be recognizable or literal at first glance. It involves using a variety of techniques and approaches to create a unique and visually interesting interpretation of the landscape. Abstract photography is generally about creating a unique and visually interesting interpretation of the subject, rather than simply documenting it.

There are a variety of techniques that can be used in creating abstract landscape photography. These include photographing small details, patterns on rocks, or the texture of tree bark. Using ultra wide-angle or telephoto lenses is also popular.

I prefer to use long exposure or deliberate camera movement techniques, which can create beautiful abstract photographs with an impressionistic feel.

Long exposure abstract photography

Long-exposure abstract photography

Abstract photography with a long exposure time involves using a slow shutter speed to capture movement in the scene, resulting in a sense of blur and abstraction in the image. I often use this technique to photograph water, landscapes with clouds, or architecture.

Although it is not common, I also include in the category of “long exposure photography” images captured in a way where I deliberately move the camera to create an abstract image. This is because with this technique I also have to set a longer exposure time, even if only 1s or so.

One of the key elements of long-exposure abstract photography is the use of a tripod to stabilize the camera, which is necessary to ensure that the image is sharp and that the blur is intentional and not the result of the camera shake. This is obviously not the case when shooting with a deliberate camera movement technique during exposure.

Minimalist abstract photography.

Minimalist abstract photography

Minimalist abstract photography is a type of photography that combines minimalism and abstraction. It often involves capturing simple, clean lines and shapes as well as negative space to create a sense of simplicity and clarity.

Minimalist abstract photography is often associated with modern and contemporary art and can be used to express a variety of emotions and ideas.

Minimalist art is an art movement that focuses on simplicity and reducing elements to the minimum necessary. This style is based on the belief that less is more and that by removing all unnecessary elements, greater meaning and power can be achieved in a work of art.

Visualizations of Abstract Photographs in the Interior

To give you a better idea of how abstract photography looks in different types of interiors, I have prepared a small gallery of visualizations. For example, in a formal living room or dining room, bold abstract photographs can add a touch of sophistication and impressiveness. On the other hand, in a study or bedroom, more creative or subtle photos may look better.

The type of frame you choose for your photos can also have a significant impact on the overall look and feel of the space. A sleek, modern frame can complement a minimalist or contemporary interior, while a more ornate, traditional frame may be better suited to a classic or traditional space.

It’s also important to consider the placement of photos. One large piece can look imposing on a blank wall, while a grouping of smaller photos can create a sense of calm and balance. However, it is essential to choose photos that reflect your personal style and taste and that enhance the overall aesthetic of the space.

Prices of Abstract Photographic Art Prints

My art prints are available in a variety of sizes and materials, with prices starting at approximately $140 for a small print. Larger sizes and premium materials, such as canvas or metal, can be slightly more expensive. For example, a medium print on canvas can cost around $270, while a large print on metal can cost around $370.

Please note that these prices are approximate and may vary depending on the specific photo you choose. To find out the exact price of a particular print, please visit the details page for that particular photograph.
