Abstract and sensual photo of a rose flower close-up
This is perhaps the oldest photograph you can buy here. It was taken back in 2016 when I didn’t even own a DSLR yet. I took this photo with a great Olympus XZ-2 camera, which I still have at home today. Even though it has a small sensor and doesn’t have the ability to change lenses, it was able to take beautiful photos. Especially macro and close-up photos are great to shoot with it.
This image was taken in a park in Prague’s Petrin Hill with a clear goal – to create an abstract photograph of a red rose flower that would make a sensual impression. I tried to achieve this mainly by shooting at a fully open aperture of f/1.8 (this gives the image a shallow depth of field, which creates an almost dreamlike impression) and also by making the flower fill the entire area of the photograph.
