Long exposure fine art photography of an old wooden breakwater on the beach near Kolobrzeg, Poland. In order to take this photo, I had to walk a few kilometers from the town beach in Kolobrzeg. Only there were old, long unrenewed breakwater stakes. And that’s exactly what I was looking for. I spent a long time choosing the right composition and where to put the tripod. In the end, I chose a diagonal composition with a higher horizon.
By using a strong ND filter (ND10) I could set the exposure time to 25s. This long exposure time portrayed the rough sea as an abstract and dreamy water surface.
