Black & White Nature Minimalist Art Print: Dried thistle flower IV.
Black and white photograph of a dried thistle flower with the spines curling into beautiful shapes. You can buy the photograph printed on canvas, wood, or metal plate. The spines on dry thistle flowers almost always grow straight. Sometimes, however, they twist into spirals or into strange shapes where the flowers look like they are dancing.
I have a favorite place near our house where I go every winter to admire these beautiful shapes.
For this photo, I chose a Tamron macro lens with a focal length of 90mm. Since this time I wanted to create abstract artwork, I used a fairly wide-open aperture of f4.2.
As a result, only a small part of the photo is in focus and the rest is slightly out of focus because it lies outside the depth of field. That’s why the photo gives a dreamy and abstract impression.
