The Silhouette of an Angel – Minimalist Photography Print
The fine art photography print of a silhouette of the angel statue on the Schwarzenberg Tomb in Třeboň, Czech Republic. I visited this beautiful place in the autumn of 2021. Instead of photographing the tomb itself, I focused on the details on the roof. The tomb is adorned with a series of statues of saints, angels, gargoyles, and beautifully sculpted gothic elements.
I took the photo using a telephoto lens set to 140mm with an aperture of f11 and an exposure time of 1/400s. Thanks to this I captured only the silhouette itself without excess detail.
You can buy this photograph printed on gallery paper, canvas, metal, or acrylic. It looks best with a minimalist black frame and white mount.
The tomb is located about 1 km from the outskirts of the town of Třeboň in the southern part of the Svět fish pond and dates back to the 18th century. The building is in the shape of a regular octagon and is built in the pseudo-Gothic style after the famous Italian burial place of famous men Campo Santo. The chapel is dedicated to Christ the Redeemer and the crypt contains 26 coffins with members of the Schwarzenberg family. The chapel is located in the middle of a 17-hectare English park with 2 000 trees.
