Reflections of the Tree on the Bank of the Sázava River
Black and white landscape photography of reflections of trees in the water resembling butterfly wings. You can buy this vertically-oriented photograph as a fine art print. I took the photograph in January 2021 on a photo walk along the Sázava River near Prague. I used a wide-angle focal length of 24mm and an aperture of f10.0, which gives the photo an excellent definition and great depth of field.
I took this photo of bare trees without leaves towering over the beautiful Sázava River near the town of Poříčí nad Sázavou in the Czech Republic.
I plan to create two versions of this photograph. The one in a rougher and more rugged style is this one. It is a very naturalistic photograph and with a less dreamy atmosphere, as such photos are usually taken.
The second version will have a softer feel and I plan to shoot it in autumn during the morning fogs when the photo will only show trees and their reflections on the water surface with a white background. The water will also be blurred as I will use a long exposure time.
