The first of a series of 3 photos of a tree. I took this photo by accident. I was taking pictures at the Orlik water reservoir, it was about -10°C outside. I was just looking for a place to turn my car around when I suddenly saw a tree with the sun coming out from behind it. And even though it’s a bit cheesy, it’s something no photographer can let go of.
There was no way to park at the tree, so I had to drive a few hundred meters down, park, and then run back up to the tree to get there before the sun got too high. I was utterly exhausted by the time I got there, but I managed to get a couple of dozen shots. I chose the 3 best ones and those are the ones you can buy as art prints.
