On the way to Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur, somewhere between the towns of Mörön and Jargalant, a huge and beautiful valley appeared. We stopped our UAZ and enjoyed the beautiful emptiness and vastness of the Mongolian landscape. To capture this beautiful scenery, I chose a telephoto lens with a focal length set at 135mm combined with an aperture of f/8.0. This combination makes the details of the rocky peak in the background, the herd of yaks and the white car in the foreground beautifully sharp.
In post-production, I decided to go with black and white to emphasize the minimalist look of this photograph.
