Minimalistic nature photography print – silhouette of dry wavy stalks and flowers on a white background. I took the photo in the spring of 2021, during the coronavirus pandemic during county closures. Nevertheless, I went to the park near KonopiÅ¡tÄ› Castle, about 40km from Prague.
I was heading to the hill on which the old church stands and in my head I was imagining how I would photograph it. Suddenly, however, I noticed the strangely wavy dry plants in the meadow. I walked around the meadow for dozens of minutes, picking out the prettiest plant. Finally, I chose the one you see in the photo.
I took it home, built an impromptu photo studio, and took dozens of different photographs. The geometry of nature on a black and white square photograph.
