A curated set of three black and white botanical photographs created with in-camera multiple exposure. These images are based on dried plant forms, but they move away from literal description and become studies of rhythm, gesture, repetition and quiet motion.
Each photograph was built directly in the camera by layering several exposures during shooting. The small shifts between exposures were not corrected or removed. They are part of the final image — a trace of hand movement, attention and the living imperfection of the process.

Included Prints
This set is composed of three individual fine art photography prints. Each print is purchased separately through Pixels / Fine Art America, where you can choose the size, frame, mat and finish for each artwork.

Dancing Plant I
A minimalist multiple exposure photograph of a dried plant fragment. Layered lines and small handheld shifts create a soft visual rhythm while keeping the composition calm and simple.

Multi-Exposure Botanical Study
A delicate botanical study created from ten successive in-camera exposures. A small plant form becomes a layered structure of stems, curves and fine detail.

Dancing Plant III
A black and white botanical abstraction focused on overlapping curves and subtle movement. The repeated exposures simplify the plant into flowing lines and a quiet sense of motion.
About This Set
This set comes from my long interest in dry plants, their gestures and their quiet sculptural quality. I often see them less as botanical subjects and more as small drawings made by nature — lines, curves, joints, tensions and fragile structures.
The photographs were created using multiple exposure directly in the camera. Instead of assembling the images later in software, I layered the exposures while shooting. I could see the previous frames in the viewfinder and use them as a guide for the next exposure, but the process was still partly intuitive and imperfect.
That imperfection is important to me. A tripod or digital compositing could make the result more precise, but also more sterile. By working handheld, the small shifts between exposures remain visible. They give the images a human rhythm and prevent the forms from becoming too mechanical.
Although the photographs are abstract, they remain connected to real plants. This is what interests me most: the subject does not disappear completely. It becomes something between a plant, a drawing, a gesture and a memory of movement.
Why These Three Prints Work Together
The three photographs share the same visual foundation: black and white tones, dried botanical forms, negative space and in-camera multiple exposure. Each image explores motion in a slightly different way.
Multi-Exposure Botanical Study is the most delicate and structural of the three. Dancing Plant III is more concentrated, with overlapping curves and a clear sense of flow. Dancing Plant I feels more open and gestural, with layered lines that suggest movement without becoming chaotic.
Together, they create a quiet botanical sequence: structure, flow and gesture. The set works well because the images are visually related, but not identical. They have the same origin and technique, while each keeps its own rhythm.
Important Note About Print Sizes
The three photographs in this set have the same aspect ratio, which makes it easier to choose matching sizes and create a balanced wall arrangement.
Still, it is important to check the final overall framed size before placing your order. The image size shown in the print options refers only to the photograph itself. Once you add a frame, mat or another finishing option, the final artwork can become significantly larger.
For example, a photograph listed as 20 × 30 cm may become approximately 34 × 44 cm after adding the frame and mat. When creating a set of three, I recommend choosing the same size, frame style, mat color and material for all three prints, and checking the final “Overall” dimensions on Pixels / Fine Art America before ordering.
Pricing
The table below shows approximate starting prices for individual prints in different sizes and materials. Prices may vary depending on the selected frame, mat, paper, mounting options, current availability, currency settings and other product choices on Pixels / Fine Art America.
Because this set is created from three separately purchased prints, the final total price depends on the size and finish you choose for each artwork. Please always check the current price and final product details directly on the print detail page before placing your order.
For the cleanest result, I recommend choosing the same material, frame style and mat color for all three prints, while carefully checking the final overall dimensions of each framed piece.

FAQ
Is this set sold as one product?
No. Each photograph is purchased separately through Pixels / Fine Art America. This gives you full control over size, frame, mat and finish for each print.
Do all three prints have the same aspect ratio?
Yes, the three photographs in this set have the same aspect ratio, which makes it easier to choose matching sizes and create a visually balanced triptych.
How were these photographs created?
They were created using in-camera multiple exposure. Several exposures were layered directly during shooting, rather than being assembled later in postproduction.
Which frame should I choose for this set?
For this set, I would choose a simple black or white frame with a white mat. The photographs are delicate and linear, so the frame should stay quiet and not compete with the botanical forms.
Where should I place this set?
This set works well in calm interiors such as bedrooms, reading corners, hallways, studios and minimalist living rooms. It is especially suitable for spaces where you want quiet movement and organic detail without strong color.
