Silhouettes of mountains in minimalist photography
The photo shows a black and white view of the undulating silhouettes of mountains in the Marsa Alam area of Egypt. The hills are arranged in different layers and gradually fade into the distance, creating an effect of depth and space. Each layer of mountains has various shades of grey, from the lightest in the background to the darkest in the foreground. The sky is clear and clean, with no clouds in sight, emphasising the minimalist style and serene atmosphere of the image.
I took this photo on 25 May 2024 using my NIKON Z 7 with a TAMRON SP 70-300mm lens. With a focal length of 270mm, I was able to zoom in and emphasise the distant layers of the mountains. The exposure time was set at 1/400s with an aperture of f/9.0 to ensure sharpness and depth throughout the image. I kept the ISO at 125 to maintain clarity and minimise noise, allowing the natural gradients of the landscape to stand out. The final image size is 7076px by 4717px, making it ideal for high quality prints.
