The beautiful spiral on the thistle flower resembles the Fibonacci spiral. This in itself allows you to take a photo, which can be a work of art only thanks to the photographed object.
I love spirals. When I look outside for what I would photograph, I sometimes find plants of beautiful shapes and I enjoy them very much. It's like finding a piece of jewelry. But when I find a plant twisted into a beautiful spiral, it's like finding a treasure. One might say that they are nice, but they all look the same. Yes, maybe it may seem so and maybe it is. Or maybe everyone is completely different. It probably depends on the angle of view π
Be that as it may, in my portfolio you will find a number of photographs of spirals created by nature. And I will continue to be very happy every time I find such a plant and I will have the opportunity to take pictures of it.
I took this photo in my home studio at the end of winter 2021. But I brought the plant from the area of the unfinished prison in ΕΓΔany near Prague. It's my favorite place, because you can find thistles with spirally twisted growths here π
