Minimalist photographs taken at my home or at someone else's home. Not only if you do not want to go out. Home photography has many benefits. You do not have to hurry anywhere and you have everything you need at your fingertips.
However, minimalist photography is poorly photographed in small flats or when you are overwhelmed by things. Still, you just have to find a few square meters, preferably at the window, and you can get the best photos ever.
The book in bed
Wavy duvets can turn into a beautiful minimalist landscape.
The lines of pages in the open book are beautiful in itself.
When you put those two things together, plus use a shallow depth of field, interesting and impressive photo is ready to rise. In addition, you will also engage the spectator's imagination. For most people, the idea of reading a book in bed creates feelings of peace and tranquility. And that's great, is not it? π
The beer bottle
Since the beer is a national beverage in the Czech Republic, I have a special relationship with it. Dewy pint of freshly brewed beer, beer bottles with beautiful labels or a glass of beer at the bar. All of this creates very good feelings especially for those who love beer as I do π And when photography evokes (any) feelings, it is always good.
Another totally common thing and we have another interesting minimalist photo. Green beer bottle with a little beer inside, against a background of wicker place mats. A shallow depth of field focuses attention on the beer foam inside the bottle.
Reggae Flag Colors
The next photo theme is the folding toy of our children. I was attracted by the colors of wooden parts in reggae style so I created this simple picture. If I photographed today, however, I would choose a higher depth of field so that all parts of the picture would be sharp.
Padlock on the old door
A very popular theme of photos that you can take at home in the garden are old doors, locks and other details of garden houses. I photographed this photo on my aunt's cottage. The image is divided vertically into two halves, which is exactly what you should not do according to all manuals. True, when you compose your photos with rule of thirds, you do not usually spoil anything. At the same time, however, the rules should be violated. This of course applies also to the composition of the photos π
If I photographed the photo again, I would definitely have chosen a greater depth of field so the wood and the red handle would be sharp.
Plastic flamingo
The next photo I photographed in my aunt's cottage. There was a big pink flamingo in the children's pool, which immediately caught my attention. Mostly, I do not like to do plastic things. But here I did an exception π
Book in the Bed shot is one of a kind
Well Done !
